I don't know what the shield is. Neutral

I don't think anyone should be ashamed of being the resident of any county. It's not your fault if you're Australian or American and even if you moved to that country you're not the reason that there's something wrong with any country.

A country is made up of a lot of people so don't blame yourself. Just be the best person that you can no matter where you are.
