I have an experiment, I don't think this is a "game"... but it can be.

The next poster is obliged to listen to the song the previous user stated and comment it.
The reason for this is to break the boundaries of sub-culture, genre-specific obsession and possibly let individuals discover new genres and tastes.

If you know that your song is most likely hard to find, please supply us with a link to it.

Guardians of mankind by Gamma Ray.

If I were to rate that song, I would rate it 6.5(of 10).
The Instrumentals were good, and they kept my focus the whole way through the song.
I did feel they were a little cliche` to the genre, but good none the less.
The Vocals made me cry a little inside.
It was like he was stretching his vocal chords, it sounded strained and very forceful.
The lyrics had a good point to them, however they were a little scatterbrained.
If they had stuck to one subject and built on it, instead of fitting as many 'cool' lines in it as they could, it would have been more entertaining, and painted a picture in the heads of the people listening (Which is what I think all lyrics should do).

The song I would like to post is
Fell in love without you (acoustic) by Motion City Soundtrack

(ignore the video, it's pretty dumb)

By the way, i think this is an excellent topic.

The lyrics weren't irritating, so that's a plus. It was a little too bland and well, uh... dull though. Was the artist half-asleep? Sorry if I cannot see what your teenage eyes see.

I doubt you dig.

I liked the style but it didn't appeal to me on a personal level.
I liked the fact that the lyrics were easy to distinguish. It was a nice balance between the instruments and the vocals.

The song was ok but I dislike the subject of love. It's my damned Achilles' heel.

The beat was decent. The melody was alright. I just didn't care for subject matter of the lyrics.

I generally prefer something more aggressive but I enjoy more placid instrumentals at times.

I didn't like the intro and ending. The wood winds would've been nice on their own but the vocals sounded too... "cute".
I liked that there was a translation for the lyrics because I often feel uncomfortable listening to things that I'm not sure of the meaning. (human instinct to fear the unknown I guess)

The meaning of the lyrics was beautiful and the instruments where harmonious. I still can't say that I particularly like the "cuteness" of the singer's voice.

Now here's mine

(+ imaginary karma for the idea by the way Damnation.)

Sweet. The intro was very lovely but I'm not a fan of that beating sound. :/ I'd prefer a more well, deep tone to it. But wow. This strange mixture is quite surprising.

Hmm... That last one was instrumentally good, and that person had a great voice, but it was overacted a little bit.
I say if she'd have sung with a little more feeling, and not put on a show, that would have been an awesome song.
What are the lyrics in english?
