Circle Takes The Square are a progressive screamo band from Savannah, Georgia.
Musical Style
While taking much influence from earlier screamo bands,
Circle Takes The Square go beyond the norms of the genre.
Their songs are on average, about six minutes long.
The instruments change quickly loud and brutal, to slow and melodic.
Their two vocalists (Kathy Coppola and Drew Speziale) scream in a rhythmic, "call and answer" pattern.
Their song structures are primarily based on quiet to loud contrast,
with some songs beginning with a long, epic build up leading to loud instruments and screaming.
