How to be a mod

I know that some of you are already interested in becoming moderators.

I already have a few people in mind.

To be eligible for moderator/hell spawn status you have to have 100 posts. I'll be looking for post quality too.

Eh... I think telling people to post 100 to be a mod was kind of a bad idea..
I probably would have just seen what happens naturally.

But it's all good

The more posts there are the more there is to moderate.

And that makes it more fun.

I like this idea, sounds resonable.

If you count quantity over quality, people won't try to make good posts,
they'll just try to make lost of posts.

i think it is a good idea and sorry if you have already mentioned it (i only scanned through the post) but what if people just put random things so tht they can reach 100 just to be a mod?


isnt there something that you would do about tht?

Well I like it whenever people posts but the better the post the better chances they have.

Well even so, those of us who were here first have senority over the others. How many of us are here now? Not a whole lot. And this site is growing, so eventually there will need to be more mods.
I think it's a good idea for a person to have at least a hundred posts before becoming a mod, but the qaulity is way more important than the quantity.

And I am the first to reach 100.

Yeah, I think being a mod here would be sweet.
It would be way easier here then at EB, I think.

Being a Mod on EB is NOT fun
It occasionaly has it moments
But most of the time watching out for raiders, banning idiots, and locking posts just... sucks

Finally my status gets noticed. Ha.
