I find body language to be very useful and intriguing.

http://www.buzzle.com/articles/body-language/

^ Loads of articles on how to tell if someone is lying, or how to understand signals.

I studied It for a while, and now I use it, and it totally annoys people when I can tell their lying.

I think it's really cool!

People do things without thinking all the time. We can sometimes pick it up in subtle ways but by studying what's common we can recognize it easier.

In games of poker people do things without thinking sometimes. If they're bluffing (lying) sometimes they do something to give it away. In poker that's called a "tell".

Thanks for the link I will have to read that.

Yeah, I've used it in poker before... I totally feel like a cheat when I do that though.

My mom went to college for speech and communication, and Body language was part of the degree.
It always annoyed me that she could tell I was lying till I found out why, and how to stop it.
Now she just has to accept everything I say.
It's great.

Haha...

Yeah and a good poker player also knows their tell so sometimes they will do it just to throw you off.

I'm really bad at lying. I just don't feel comfortable doing it so it probably shows a lot. But I try to never lie anyway.

I went through the articles that you posted, & they seem quite interesting.
How to decipher lies from truth using body language always leaves me in awe.
I would like to learn how to read the body language of others. It could be useful. (:

Cool.
Whats interesting about that is when I lie about something,
I feel exactly as it described in the article.

Body language can be really underestimated.

I find myself picking up body language and various phrases from my friends all the time.

I typically have a problem interpreting body language, namely from guys. I'll think they act like they are into me, maybe by the way they look at me, mirror some of my subconscious actions, or by the way they hug me, but it turns out to be nothing.

I'm good at "lying" if it's just a little fib. Ex."Can you help fold clothes?" "I gotta go do my homework" On real lies I'm not very good, because I feel bad about lying or whatever I did.

I can usually tell when people are lying becuase alot of the people I hang out with aren't good liers.

There's one person i talk to and every time he's lying, he sticks his hands behind his head like he's stretching. dead giveaway.

I get really sweaty palmed when i'm lying.

I have trouble lying as I blush very easily
I'm also very edgy
The body language article seems very interesting
I need to work on my 'poker face' for lying

I'm the opposite.
I can lie about huge things and get away with it, but the little things don't go quite as well.
