Famous Painters

^^ link to famous painters.

Do you like paintings?
My mom is a professional artist (among other things), and I've been dragged to various art museums in the area.
I'm used to the whole art aspect of life, and I've learned to appreciate it.
Do you have a favorite artist?

I kind of like Da Vinci's style.

I've studied art in college and gone to museums but I never remember names and such. I just know what I like when I see it.

I'm my own favorite artist though. =P

Personally, I enjoy art very much.
In some paintings, you can see them 100 times & see something different with each look.

My favorite artist is probably Van Gogh or Salvador Dali. (:

Van Gogh is ok, I like his sketches best.

His paintings are a little iffy for me, almost non-descript.

I like Da Vinci's attention to detail.

I prefur sculptors, to painters.

Though I do like Micheal Angelo's work because he was at heart a scupltor, and if you look at his paintings they have a very 3d feel about them, you know?

My favourite scupltor is Auguste Rodin, though.

My mom is very infatuated with Auguste Rodin.

She loves his stuff, I personally find it to be a little repetitive.

I haven't really taken much interest to classic paintings like that, really. I'm pretty into the artwork of Alex Pardee. He draws the artwork for The Used and Aiden and so forth.

I have never become very interested in Art or paintings
Which could be related to the fact that I'm not much of an artist myself
I do like photography though
And abstract art
If it gives me something to think about

Yeah, Rodin can get a bit repetitive, but thats because he lurved the ladies!!

Nah I really like his veiws of the female body, just the way he described it.

When working with female models, he would have his mistress in another room, and when he went into the other room to 'get jiggy with it' he would put a sign on the door saying 'The Artist is visiting the Temple'

I think that is kinda a cool way to say sex.
Its better then 'get jiggy with it'

I'm actually not all that into art. I think it's mostly because I can't create anything decent (it all falls apart or just plain sucks...)
