Do you guys even read magazines?

I've never seen this even mentioned. o_o

I'm subscribed to a few different guitarist magazines, they're quite amazing. Most of my six guitars were obtained through recommendations and reviews through magazines. I hate it when you can only get certain guitars exported to you, however magazines were telling me that the American VG Stratocaster was amazing and so I broke the rules. Since it was one of the first shipped here I was praying to God it played well with me otherwise I'd have to send it back, and I was eager to get it for weeks.

Not only do they give good advice, they give you freebies too. I'm not complaining.

I used to have a few magazine piles but I never actually subscribed except to Becket DBZ.

I had some Becket Pokemon magazines too when I was younger. Becket is mostly about the cards and TV shows and movies but they had other stuff in there about the video games and plush toy etc.

I "borrowed" a bunch of interior decorating magazines from my art teacher in high school which I cut up and turned into collages. I asked if he wanted them back on my last day and he said no, lol.

But they were interesting to read and look at before I shredded.

I had quite a few National Geographics that I collected from various places, I'd have to say that's my favorite magazine.

I read magazines in the checkout line.
It's always funny to watch old people stare at you when you read Cosmopolitan.

When I'm in the checkout line I read the Weekly World News.

I don't read trendy magazines...
I love this magazine called The Week, though, Does anyone read it?
It's like the contents of a newspaper in a weekly magazine, with a more layed back feel.

I don't read magazines, I find them often stupid and idiotic.

Especially the 'trendy' ones like Dolly in australia. OH MY GOSH It makes me want to punch walls!!

But I do read music magazines sometimes, like Kerrang, and the Big Cheese, and Twisted.

Occasionally I'll buy Blender, Revolver, or Paste. But thats about it. Magazines are usually expensive and I spend so much time reading them in the stores theres really no sense in buying them.

I read a couple guitar magazines, and a few typical teen magazines.

Such as j-14 or Seventeen. For teh lulz.

Make up? Girly stuff? I heard there's a lot of sexual stuff in there too but you're too much of a good girl for me to think that you would read that sort of thing.

I guess that might be good for getting ideas but I wouldn't go along with whatever the magazine said just because it said it was the thing to do. (not saying YOU would but I know some people who would)

never seen the point, and i find them boring.

Shame. Thers plenty of good mags out there.

I used to love to get those "teen *insert happy title* but then I realized how annoying and dumb they were. They all had a million pictures of Zac Efron and Miley Cyrus.
I enjoy reading Alternative Press because they've got different variaties of well, alternative bands

Teen magazines have gone to hell these days as far as I am concerned. I miss when they had cool celebs like Good Charlotte, MCR, Green Day, etc on the cover of teen mags. Now all they care about is Miley Cyrus and JoBro. blugh.

Oh but isn't it your dream to be able to buy one magazine and have enough pictures of Miley Cyrus/Hanna Montana and the JoBros to cover all the walls of your bedroom?

I read Kerrang, Blunt, Twisted, and this other magazine I cant remember at the moment
But I only read them ocasionally
Or when a friend has them and I borrow them to read
I dont buy them often
